How much does a website cost in Uzbekistan in 2026: business card site, landing page, online store

A website in Uzbekistan costs anything from 100,000 so'm with a freelancer to tens of millions with a studio, and both prices can be honest. Below are the price ranges in Samarkand and Tashkent as of 1 October 2026, what drives the price, what a site costs every month after launch, and what to check in the contract so that the site and the domain stay yours.

Three browser windows of different sizes stand side by side like goods on a shelf: small, medium and large; a price tag, highlighted in orange, hangs from the shelf edge below the medium one

How much a website costs in Uzbekistan: by our survey as of 1 October 2026, in Samarkand a business card site costs about 2.2 million so’m on average (≈ $186), a landing page about 3.3 million (≈ $280), a company website about 5.9 million (≈ $500), and an online store 8–15 million so’m (≈ $680–1,270). The same work costs more in Tashkent: a landing page 2–8 million so’m (≈ $170–680), a corporate website 5–20 million (≈ $420–1,690), an online store from 10 to 30 million so’m (≈ $850–2,540) and up. After launch a site costs money every month: a .uz domain from 30,000 so’m (≈ $2.50) a year, hosting from 33,000 so’m (≈ $2.80) a month, a website builder subscription $10–25 a month.

We converted so’m to dollars at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan rate for 1 October 2026: 1 USD = 11,808.76 so’m. The survey covered the published price lists of web studios and listings on the OLX classifieds site. We do not name the studios: their prices change, and the “from” figure in a price list rarely matches the final bill.

Website prices in Samarkand and Tashkent

Type of site What it is Samarkand Tashkent
Business card site 1–5 pages: who you are, services, contacts ≈ 2.2m so’m (≈ $186) —
Landing page One page with one goal ≈ 3.3m so’m (≈ $280) 2–8m so’m (≈ $170–680)
Company website Services, about, articles, several pages ≈ 5.9m so’m (≈ $500) 5–20m so’m (≈ $420–1,690)
Online store Catalogue, cart, payment 8–15m so’m (≈ $680–1,270) 10–30m+ so’m (≈ $850–2,540+)

We did not collect a separate average for business card sites in Tashkent: price lists there call this product different things, from a “presentation page” to a small company website.

This is the middle of the market, and its edges are wide. Freelancers in Samarkand take on a site for 100,000–300,000 so’m (≈ $8–25) or from $100. A premium studio in Samarkand quotes $350–2,000 for a landing page and $3,500–6,000 and more for a corporate website. Published guides by Tashkent studios also give ranges like these: a promo site with custom design 8–15 million so’m (≈ $680–1,270), a business portal 15–40 million (≈ $1,270–3,390), an online store 25–80 million so’m (≈ $2,120–6,770).

How a business card site differs from a landing page, and when one page is enough, is covered in our article “Landing page or website”.

How much does an online store cost

A store is more expensive not because of the number of pages. The costly parts are the ones a visitor never sees.

  • Catalogue. Product cards, filters, search, importing products from a spreadsheet or accounting software. A hundred products entered by hand and five thousand loaded from a file are different jobs.
  • Payment through Click and Payme. Click and Payme are Uzbek payment services, and connecting them is not a button you paste in a minute. With Click, the store has to implement the Prepare and Complete requests on its own server (Click documentation). Payme says that only individual entrepreneurs and companies can work with payment terminals, and the store’s application has to be set up to talk to Payme Business (Payme documentation). A private individual without entrepreneur status cannot open a Payme terminal.
  • Delivery and order statuses. Who confirms the order, and how the customer learns that it has shipped.
  • What to show before payment. Uzbekistan’s e-commerce law requires specific information from the seller in the offer. We covered what exactly in “Telegram shops and ZRU-792”; the same rules apply to a website.

What goes into a turnkey website price

“Turnkey” means different things to different people. Ask for an itemised quote. It usually contains:

  1. Design. A ready-made template recoloured in your colours, or a layout from scratch. The price difference is several-fold.
  2. Copy. You write it, the contractor writes it, or there is none. If you are writing it, agree on a deadline: a site without copy cannot be handed over.
  3. Photos and video. Your own shoot, stock images or pictures from the client. Contractors usually do not include photographing your premises, products and team.
  4. Languages. Russian, Uzbek in the Latin script, sometimes English. Each language means separate copy, translation and proofreading, not a switch in the corner.
  5. Leads and integrations. Where an inquiry goes: Telegram, a CRM or a Google Sheet. Payment through Click and Payme. Each integration is its own line.
  6. Motion. Scroll animation, 3D, video on the first screen. Beautiful, but it means developer hours and testing on inexpensive phones.
  7. Launch. Domain, hosting, HTTPS, analytics, markup for search engines. Sometimes included, sometimes billed separately.

Why website prices differ by tens of times

A freelancer’s site for 300,000 so’m and a premium studio’s landing page for $2,000 (23.6 million so’m): a difference of almost 80 times. Both prices can be honest because the work behind them is different:

  • Template or custom build. For 300,000 so’m someone installs a ready-made theme and swaps the text. For millions, someone designs the structure and draws layouts for your task.
  • Who thinks about sales. A cheap site does what the brief says. An expensive one starts with questions: why the site exists, where visitors will come from, what single action they should take.
  • What happens after handover. Edits, updates, support, an answer on a weekend. With a freelancer, this depends on their next job.
  • Paperwork. A contract, an acceptance certificate, an invoice, and deadlines someone is accountable for.

Expensive does not always mean better. But if a price is a third of the market, ask which line from the list above is missing.

How much does a website cost per month after launch

Cost How much Source
.uz domain 30,000–45,000 so’m a year (≈ $2.50–3.80; UzCloud’s price excludes VAT) UzCloud, IT Service Group, Scientific Technologies
Hosting in Uzbekistan from 33,150 so’m a month paid yearly, 39,000 paid monthly (≈ $2.80–3.30) aHOST, Nano plan
HTTPS certificate free Let’s Encrypt; many hosts include it in the plan
Tilda website builder $10–25 a month Tilda pricing
Studio support from 0.5–1 million so’m a month (≈ $42–85) our survey of price lists, October 2026

Registrars set domain prices themselves, so they vary. The table shows three registrars from the list of accredited ones as of 1 October 2026.

A simple static site may not need paid hosting at all. On Cloudflare Pages, requests to static assets are free and unlimited, on the free plan too.

Do the maths on Tilda carefully. The free plan gives one site of up to 50 pages, but no custom domain and no lead forms. The Personal plan costs $10 a month paid yearly or $15 month to month; Business costs $20 or $25 and adds 5 sites and code export (Tilda pricing). The Russian-language pricing page lists prices in roubles instead: 500 and 750, 1,000 and 1,250 roubles a month (tilda.cc/ru/pricing). Which currency you see depends on your region. Over five years, Personal paid monthly comes to $900, more than 10 million so’m. When a builder beats custom development and when it does not is the subject of “Tilda, WordPress or code”.

None of this includes advertising: a site does not bring visitors by itself.

8 questions to ask before ordering a website

  1. What is included in the price, line by line: design, copy, photos, languages, integrations, launch?
  2. How many rounds of edits, and what counts as an edit rather than new work?
  3. In whose name will the domain and hosting be registered?
  4. Will I get the code, or admin access to the website builder?
  5. Where will inquiries go, and who checks that they arrive?
  6. How does the site look on an inexpensive phone? Ask to see a past project on your own smartphone.
  7. What does a month of support cost, and what happens if I don’t buy it?
  8. What sites have you built that are live right now? A link to a working site beats a screenshot.

Traps: a site and a domain in someone else’s name

The domain registered to the contractor. Under the .uz registry’s terms, the domain administrator is the person or company that registered the domain in their own name. If the registrar’s form names the contractor, the domain is theirs, even if you paid for it. Any individual or company can register a .uz domain regardless of nationality or residence, so register it to your company or yourself from day one.

Renewal on someone else’s card. If a domain is not renewed, it enters a period during which it can still be recovered: for .uz that is seven working days, and the site is down meanwhile. Find out the renewal date and set a reminder for yourself, not just for the contractor.

The site on the contractor’s account. A site built on a website builder lives in someone’s account. If the account is not yours, neither is the site. On Tilda, code export comes only with the Business plan; without it, moving the site to another contractor means rebuilding it.

Analytics and leads. Visitor counters, the bot that receives inquiries, the mailbox for forms: all of these should sit on your account with access for the contractor, not the other way round.

More questions to ask a contractor before signing are in “Business automation companies in Uzbekistan: how to choose one”. Half of them fit a web studio too.

Our prices

We build websites with scroll animation, in Russian, Uzbek and English, with inquiries going straight to Telegram or a CRM. The “Start” landing page costs 4.9 million so’m (≈ $415), the “Motion” landing page with parallax and two languages 7.9 million (≈ $670), a company website from 12.9 million (≈ $1,090), a catalogue with inquiries from 14.9 million (≈ $1,260), a product website with 3D scenes from 19.9 million so’m (≈ $1,690). Payment is 50/50; the code, domain and access are registered to the client; the exact price is fixed after a free brief. What each package includes is in our price list (PDF, in Russian). What to do next

Before collecting quotes, write down three things: why you need the site, where its visitors will come from, and what single action they should take. With that sheet in hand you can compare quotes from different contractors line by line rather than by the bottom figure. If you want to compare with ours as well, tell us about the task on our website development page: we will reply with brief questions and, after the brief, name a price and a deadline.
